The La Recherche Expedition - Tromsø
One understands that they enjoy decorating their homes when one looks at their furniture and paintings. This is luxury, the fruits of which have been borne by the people of a cultured society living far to the north of the Arctic Circle. Silk from Lyon and textiles from Mulhouse are replacing the homespun clothing which, for every day that passes, is being put away... Let us pride ourselves on the influence that France has on these northern people.
