      Aerosolutveckling i samband med behandling i munhålan kan innebära risk för smittöverföring mellan patienter och tandvårdspersonal. Denna artikel beskriver vilka situationer och procedurer som orsakar mikrobiella aerosoler i tandvårdskliniken. Smittrisken för infektiös aerosol beskrivs med exempel från några bakteriella och virusöverförbara sjukdomar i tandvårdskliniken.
