Venue will be at the University of Tromsø 16^th to 18^th November 2010

Organizers are the Nordic Council for Reindeer Husbandry Research (NOR) and Centre of Sami Studies (SESAM).

The conference is multi-disciplinary and participants are invited to present in plenary sessions and poster sessions on all relevant topics and themes concerning reindeer and reindeer husbandry.

However, there will be some main themes, and you are welcome to suggest both on the organising and the themes.

In due time (spring 2010) you will be given more information which will be upgraded successively with invitation, programme and registration procedures. Notice will be available at NOR’s and SESAMS’s web sites (www.rangifer.no; www.sami.uit.no).

Remember to find time to the conference to be sure to attend.

The conference languages will be Finnish, Scandinavian (Norwegian/Swedish), and Sami. Posters and power point texts will be in English. Non-Nordic participants are invited to use English.
